USGA Bob Jones Award

Presented annually since 1955, the Bob Jones Award recognizes an individual who demonstrates the spirit, personal character and respect for the game exhibited by Jones, winner of nine USGA championships. It is the highest honor bestowed by the USGA.

Past recipients include Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Francis Ouimet, Byron Nelson, Mickey Wright, Nancy Lopez, Patty Berg, Annika Sorenstam and Barbara Nicklaus, making the Nicklaus' the only husband-wife tandem to receive the honor.
