Brooks Koepka’s successful U.S. Open Championship title defense in 2018 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club will be broadcast as a two-hour special by FS1 at 8 p.m. EDT on Monday, March 23, the first in a series of final-round U.S. Open telecasts on FS1.
Koepka, who earned his first U.S. Open victory – and his first major title – at Erin Hills in 2017, held on to defeat Tommy Fleetwood by one stroke at Shinnecock Hills. Koepka became the first player since Curtis Strange in 1988-89 to claim consecutive U.S. Open titles. Fleetwood carded a 7-under-par 63 on Sunday to match the lowest 18-hole score in championship history, but Koepka’s 2-under 68 and 72-hole total of 1-over 281 earned him the title in the 118th edition, the fourth U.S. Open contested at iconic Shinnecock Hills.
Dustin Johnson, the 2016 champion, finished third at 3-over 283. Patrick Reed (284) and Tony Finau (285) rounded out the top five.
