The Spaniard earned his second U.S. Open start by virtue of being among the top 60 in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 23. Arnaus owns four worldwide victories, one of which has come on the DP World Tour (formerly European Tour). That came earlier this year in the Catalunya Championship in a playoff over Oliver Bekker. Arnaus also owns one European Challenge Tour victory and two wins on the Alps Tour. Prior to turning professional in 2017, he represented Spain twice in the European Team Championships, and won the 2017 Spanish Amateur. He played collegiately at Texas A&M from 2012-2016.
