Novak will make his U.S. Open debut after surviving final qualifying in Dallas, Texas, where he posted a 36-hole total of 10-under-par 132 at Royal Oaks and Lakewood country clubs. The Wofford graduate registered his first professional victory last year on the Korn Ferry Tour, shooting 23 under par to take the LECOM Suncoast Classic. He finished 18th in the 2020-21 season on the Korn Ferry Tour to earn his PGA Tour card for the 2021-22 season. The Wofford College graduate's best result this season is a T-11 at the Corales Puntacana Championship. Novak was the 2017 Southern Conference Player of the Year and twice qualified for NCAA regionals as an individual.  When he retires from professional golf, he wants to become a football coach.
