The Englishman will make his second U.S. Open start after posting 9-under 133 in the final qualifier conducted at RattleSnake Point Golf Club in Canada. Tarren, a Radford University graduate, missed the cut in 2019 at Pebble Beach. In 2018, he won the PGA Tour-China Order of Merit with four second-place finishes, and he graduated to the PGA Tour in 2021-22 by finishing strong in the last two events of the Korn Ferry Tour finals last fall. He also is a past runner-up in the English Amateur.
