Izumida, a member of the Japan Golf Tour, will make his U.S. Open debut after posting 8-under-par 136 (68-68) in Final Quaifying at Caledonian Golf Club in Chiba, Prefecture, Japan. Izumida owns one victory on the JGT, taking the 2018 RIZAP KBC Augusta. He was the runner-up in the 2019 KEB Hana Bank Invitational on the Korean Tour, and he tied for third in the 2019 Dunlop Phoenix on the JGT.
