The veteran PGA Tour member will compete in his third U.S. Open after being among the top 60 in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 23. Tringale, a Southern California native, was a three-time All-American at Georgia Tech, where he won the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship as a freshman in 2006. He also a member of the victorious 2009 USA Walker Cup Team at Merion Golf Club. Tringale qualified for his first U.S. Open in 2009 at Bethpage State Park as an amateur. He turned professional in 2010. His lone professional win to date came with partner Jason Day in the 2014 Franklin Templeton Shootout.
