Lee will make his fourth U.S. Open start after being among the top 60 in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 23. Lee successfully defended his title at the AT&T Byron Nelson in May, holding off 2015 U.S. Open champion Jordan Spieth. Lee also owns a pair of victories on the Japan Golf Tour and Korean Tour. He moved to the U.S. in 2016 to compete on the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour).
