Fifty-two years after his father, Tony, won the U.S. Open at Hazeltine National, Sean Jacklin will tee it up in the championship. Sean qualified at The Club at Admiral's Cove in Jupiter, Fla., sharing medalist honors with a 5-under total of 137. Sean has played a handful of events on the PGA, Korn Ferry and PGA Tour Latinoamerica circuits. He played collegiately at the University of North Carolina. Jacklin also had to survive local qualifying at Sara Bay Country Club. He was named after his father's good friend, the late actor Sean Connery, who also was an avid golfer. While his dad represented England, Sean plays for Scotland.
