The USGA Library collection is the world’s largest and most significant related to golf history. Each year, scholars visit to conduct research with the more than 100,000 catalogued items available to enhance their study and scholarly exploration.
As with many foremost special collections libraries, much of our material is best explored in person. To support original research in golf history, stipends are available to provide financial support to researchers who wish to visit Liberty Corner, N.J. to conduct research.
The USGA can award these funds through the generosity of Don M. Wilson, III. Mr. Wilson has been a member of the USGA Golf Museum and Library Committee since 2001 and was a Founding Partner of the USGA Foundation in 2018.
