- The oldest remaining player in the field, she is playing in her eighth U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur, advancing to the quarterfinals in 2009
- A member of the USA Curtis Cup Teams in 1978 and 1988, she also served as captain in 2012
- Starting with the 1971 U.S. Girls’ Junior, she has played in more than 60 USGA championships, including eight U.S. Women’s Opens, and her best finish was runner-up in the 1987 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur (she finished as a semifinalist in that championship in 1992 and 1999)
- She advanced to the semifinals of the 1976 and 1982 U.S. Women’s Amateurs
- She captured the Women's Western Amateur in 1990, is a two-time winner of the California Amateur Championship, and three-time champion of the San Francisco City Championship
- The associate chair of education in the department of medicine at the University of California-San Francisco, she has recently narrowed her clinical work to non-malignant hematology at UCSF Medical Center while also working in the School of Medicine to redesign the medical student’s curriculum
- In 2016, she was inducted into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame
