Morgan earned his first U.S. Open start by leading the Order of Merit on the PGA Tour of Australasia. Morgan turned professional in October 2021 and has played primarily on the PGA Tour of Australasia and some mini-tours. He won the 2020 Australian Amateur Championship. Morgan hopes to be competing full-time on the DP World Tour (formerly European Tour) next year, and he has plans of entering Korn Ferry Tour Q-School this fall in the United States. Last year, Morgan won the Australian PGA Championship by 11 strokes at Royal Queensland, breaking a record held by Greg Normana and 5-time USGA champion Hale Irwin for the largest margin of victory.
