Wise will play in his fourth U.S. Open after getting inside the top 60 in the Official World Golf Ranking on June 6. Wise vaulted from No. 88 in the OWGR to 44th with his solo second finish in the Memorial Tournament. The former University of Oregon All-American owns three professional wins, including the 2018 AT&T Byron Nelson. He also owns one Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) win in the 2017 Air Capital Classic, and one victory on PGA Tour Canada. Born in South Africa, Wise moved to Southern California with his family when he was 3. In 2016, he led Oregon to the NCAA title, and he captured the individual championship as well.
