The German will make his U.S. Open debut after earning his way to The Country Club via a four-event series on the DP World Tour (formerly European Tour). Paul is a rookie on the DP World Tour, earning his card for the 2022 season by finishing ninth on the 2021 European Challenge Tour. He saved his best result last season for the finale, the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final. Paul also competed on the PGA Tour Canada after turning professional in 2018. He played four seasons at the University of Colorado with his twin brother, Jeremy. In 2016, they made history as the first set of twins to compete in the same European Tour event, competing as amateurs in the BMW International Open in their native Germany.
