The native of France will make his third consecutive U.S. Open start, thanks to being among the top 10 in a four-event U.S. Open series on the DP World Tour (formerly European Tour). Perez owns five professional victories, including two on the European Tour (2019 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and 2022 Dutch Open in a four-hole playoff). Perez played collegiately at the University of New Mexico, and represented France in the 2014 World Amateur Team Championship in Japan, finishing second individually behind Jon Rahm, who set the 72-hole scoring record.
