Henley will make his eighth U.S. Open start by virtue of being among the top 60 in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 23. Henley owns six worldwide victories, three of which have come on the PGA Tour. His last PGA Tour win came in the 2017 Shell Houston Open. His first PGA Tour victory came in the 2013 Sony Open and in 2014 he won The Honda Classic in a four-man playoff, which included 2011 U.S. Open champion Rory McIlroy. Henley, who shared low-amateur honors with Scott Langley in the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, won the Web.com Tour's (now Korn Ferry Tour) Stadion Classic at UGA in 2011 as an amateur. It came on a course where Henley had honed his skills as a collegiate golfer at the University of Georgia. He became the second amateur to win on that circuit after Daniel Summerhays. It came four months before he represented the USA in the Walker Cup Match at Royal Aberdeen in Scotland. Henley claimed two more Web.com Tour events in 2012 after turning professional. He also competed on a pair of victorious USA Palmer Cup Teams in 2010 and 2011.
