Kokrak is set to make his sixth U.S. Open start after qualifying for the season-ending Tour Championship in 2021.. He registered his third PGA Tour victory last fall at the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open. Earlier in 2021, he won the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas by two strokes over 54-hole leader Jordan Spieth. Two of his other six professional victories came on the Nationwide Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) during the 2011 season (Albertsons Boise Open and Miccosukee Championship). He played collegiately at Xavier University. While at the Cincinnati, Ohio, school, he won consecutive Ohio Amateur titles in 2006 and 2007. He also was the stroke-play medalist in the 2007 U.S. Amateur at The Olympic Club.
