The Irishman will compete in his first U.S. Open after being among the top 60 in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 23. Power was a standout at East Tennessee State University, where he registed five wins, including the Atlantic Sun Conference title in 2007 and 2010. Since turning professional in 2011, Power has registered six worldwide victories, including the 2021 Barbasol Championship on the PGA Tour. He also captured the United Leasing & Financing Championship on the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) in 2016. Before getting to the Web.com Tour, he posted four wins on the eGolf Tour. Power played his way into this year's Masters Tournament by reaching the quarterfinals of the WGC-Dell Match Play Championship in Austin, Texas.
