The 2009 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year owns six PGA Tour victories, the latest coming with partner and fellow Australian Cameron Smith in the 2021 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Leishman's last individual title came in the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, site of the 2021 U.S. Open. His first PGA Tour win was the 2012 Travelers Championship and his second came in the 2017 Arnold Palmer Invitational. He nearly won the 2015 Open Championship at St. Andrews, losing an aggregate playoff to Zach Johnson (Louis Oosthuizen was also involved). He also tied for fourth at the 2013 Masters. He was a member of the 2019 International Presidents Cup Team. This will be his 11th U.S. Open start.
