One of eight players who have finished runner-up in all four major championships in his career, Louis Oosthuizen is in third place through 36 holes in his attempt to claim his second major title. With a victory, the winner of the 2010 Open Championship would join Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only players to win majors at both St. Andrews and Pebble Beach. Oosthuizen is in the top 25 in three major statistical categories through 36 holes: strokes gained (SG) off the tee, SG approach and SG putting. His roller-coaster second round included seven birdies, six bogeys and just five pars.
